Welcome to the Germantown Presbyterian Website! We’re glad you found us here. Our hope, whether you are a guest or an established member of this faith community, is that through the content of these pages you’ll find out more about GPC and become more connected to the life of this amazing church.
Established in 1838, Germantown Presbyterian is a church that values the past, as it lives in the present and stretches toward the future. Looking over our shoulders, we humbly remember the power of God in the lives of the men and women whose vision and sacrifice have brought us to the point of vitality we enjoy today. Squinting toward the future, we wonder with excitement what God will do with us as we faithfully follow into what-is-yet-to-come. Living in the present, we joyfully attend to the tasks of worship, education, mission and ministry.
Traditionally minded, we are convinced that the Christian story is the most astounding story humanity can ever know. In music, worship and teaching we do our best to present the truth of the gospel in compelling ways. In mission we give ‘feet’ to our faith as we obediently follow God into the world with the message of divine love in Jesus Christ.
